The Diary of Anne Frank

This is another story that was told to me by my teacher...Mam Soujanya. The way it started was when she was discussing with the class about blogs, which are meant to be diaries and suddenly this Diary of Anne Frank came up in her mind.

The Diary of Anne Frank\The Diary of a Young Girl

The story goes like this...

Anne Frank was a Jewish Girl who just turned 13.She loved to write just like most of us and was really good at it.On her thirteenth B'day her Father gave her a Diary, which meant a lot to Anne Frank since she now wrote each and every of his moment in her diary.

Three weeks after her B'day, during the second world war Hitler's forces were set out to kill the Jews due to which Anne and his family had to swiftly go to some safe place. They took nothing of their goods, but Anne took her diary, her most precious gift.

Now they lived in a place where they had to keep quiet and as silent they could be,due to fear of the Nazis that were after the Jews. They weren't allowed to talk and Anne, who was a hobbyist of this had a little difficulty to adopt to this habit. So she began to write her.She kept writing everything she thought in her diary for about 2 years.

Her family was apprehended in 1944 and Anne Frank ultimately died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. After the war, the diary was retrieved by Anne's father, Otto Frank.

Is that all?
Yes...and No.

First let me tell you that she faced a lot of trouble throughout her life and specially during the concentration camp. And at a age of 13,the torture she faced was really unhuman.

Now guess the last lines of her diary...

(English Translation):"After all this,I still believe that there is some good in everyone."

That's something magical she wrote and really touching after taking a deep look at her troubles. This shows that humanity is still alive in this world.

Practise random kindness and senseless acts of beauty

I still remember the last class of my favourite teacher,Mam Soujanya. Now I accept that it was the most interesting class taken by her. This class has been divided into 3 articles.

1.Que Sera Sera2.Herd Mentality3.Practise random kindness and senseless acts of beauty

So she took out a book and read a phrase from it.It was "Practise random kindness and senseless acts of beauty",you can also find it in the Spread this message section of this site.

It's meaning was quite simple,to do senseless and random good deeds,no matter big or small, but this will really touch any person in need.

She then gave a couple of examples. These would help you know the meaning more easily. She also told us to spread this phrase,as it is really magical. So if you like it,then please tell it to your friends.

Example 1A boy and his father once went to visit the circus. At the ticket queue they had a family infront of them. The family looked poor, yet was happy. It was a family of Two boys,a girl and their parents. The children's mother seemed quite happy, apparently they were here after a long time. The man also looked happy and was waiting eagerly to buy the tickets.

When there turn came, the man asked for 5 tickets. As the ticket seller told the price, the smile on the man, continued by his wife's smile faded away. They didn't had enough money.Obviously they could have turned back and returned home, but at this situation, how would the kids feel about their dad. They were very excited about it and their father didn't seemed to gather courage for a negative answer.

The boy's father noticed it,he quitely went near the man, slipped his hand into his pocket, and stealthily dropped a note on the ground. He then excused the man if the note was his.The man knew what he did,but still accepted it.With tears welling up his eyes,he maintained to whisper "Thank you".

That night the boy and his father came home without watching the show, but still they were happy.

Example 2Once when Mahatma Gandhi was travelling from a train, one of his shoe fell down the track.Mahatma Gandhi, untied his second shoe and threw it as well.A fascinated observer asked why he did so.And Bapu replied that the man who finds my pair of shoes will be able to wear it,otherwise what use would have one shoe been?

Example 3This is actually the most common example.A lady travelling in a red car stopped at the toll booth, and gave the money of the next 5 cars that pass from here,on christmas eve. This is a completely random and senseless acts, still it is an act of beauty as when the other passers will come to know that a lady in a red car has already paid the tollbooth tax for you,how nice will they feel.It would be a nice christmas present for them.

Herd Mentality

I still remember the last class of my favourite teacher,Mam Soujanya. Now I accept that it was the most interesting class taken by her. This class has been divided into 3 articles.

1.Que Sera Sera2.Herd Mentality3.Practise random kindness and senseless acts of beauty

She said that there's a quality in everyone. Some may be good at numbers, some at literature some at creativity and so on.But God has distributed it equally in everyone. Now it's the herd mentality of the people that has made people fail in their life.A maths failure takes Maths as the subject just due to some personal reason or the herd mentality.

People here are herds of sheeps, where one goes everybody follows. So one sheep (I mean person) attempts the maths subject and everyone follows him, then why has people made other subjects, just to increase our grades in school.Success is equal in every opportunity, just the time matters.

And if you have chosen the right career for you, then the enjoyment you get in pursuing it is really something that cannot be expressed in words.

She gave an example of herself. Now she has taken the degree of Science, but she loved teaching English. She had a love for literature and wanted to spread it to the world. So she pursued a career in literature and started teaching English. She taught us so well that there are even crazy students like me blogging about her...and yeah, she deserves a lot more than it.

Now she has already taught in more than 7 schools across India and even have remained the Principal of the military school. And most importantly over all her life, she has lived it,not just bluttering out all the science text from a refresher and blindly checking the copies. She teaches English amazingly and even while checking the papers, she looks very carefully about the thoughts of the student. So it's all about choosing a career that suits you and your ability.

You can be a sheep and follow other people,or you can make your own way and get the inner satisfaction that some sheeps die for.Your Future is in Your Hands.

Que Sera Sera

I still remember the last class of my favourite teacher,Mam Soujanya. Now I accept that it was the most interesting class taken by her. This class has been divided into 3 articles.

1.Que Sera Sera2.Herd Mentality3.Practise random kindness and senseless acts of beauty

Here is what she said...

"Today I am going to sing a song for you.I sang this song whenever I have to leave my students and if you pay attention to the song, you will find it really beautiful. This song will help you whenever you are going through hardships in life,so always remember it."

Then she sang the song...Que Sera Sera (Whatever will be...Will be) sung by Doris Day in about 1946.

When I was just a little girl,I asked my mother "what will I be?"Will I be pretty,will I be rich?Here's what my mother said to me...Que Sera Sera...Whatever will be...Will be,The future's not our's...to see.Whatever will be...Will be

The song continues like this with the lady growing up with the final moral as Whatever will be...will be.Just do your best and God will do the rest.

Whenever you are suffering through any hardships, just sing this song, trust me...It's magical and it will really take the load off your heart and mind.Peace.

myTeacher Speaks...Introduction

Teachers are boring,Okay, but not all. Some teachers are really interesting and teach you different things that you cannot even forget in your lifetime.Similarly I had one of my best teacher...Mam Soujanya Pradeep.

She was the best teacher, according to me and I really respected her.She was really interesting, and I paid a lot attention to her thoughts. She really had wonderful thoughts,if given a chance,I bet she would make the world the most beautiful place to live in.

Even the birth of this blog is indirectly related to her.
