The Wealth of India

This story was told to us by our Principal on the 61st Anniversary of the Indian Independence.

Once there was a farmer. While doing his daily chores,he spotted a big stone on the road.It was somewhat big and could not be moved easily. The farmer cursed the man who had put the stone on the middle of the road and left.

Next day a milkman came upon the road.He stopped his bike, gave a meaningful glance to the stone, cursed the man who did this, and left.

People came and people went, but that stone never moved. But one day a young student, visibly a 10th grader, came upon the way.He noticed the stone, and with all his strength moved the stone from the road to the side. After the stone was removed,he noticed that there was a piece of paper lying under the stone. He curiously analyzed the paper and found the following words written on the paper...

"You are the real wealth of the country. It needs you."
