Visiting the Zoo sounds like a very merry and happy topic, but this visit wasn't any of it.We entered the zoo and started to explore, you know the curiosity a human has.The first animal we visited was the deer.He was simply packed in a round shaped ground, covered with fence. There was only a little water in his bowl and only one or two were out in the scorching heat, rest were simply resting. That's why I like to watch the Animal Planet rather than visiting the zoo,not only you get to see a lot of them, but also you are able to watch some really interesting movements by them.

We quickly moved to the next, since it was not at all interesting. The next was a small ground full of rabbits and some tortoises, which reminded me that of the classic,"Slow and Steady" story.Maybe this time the rabbits won as most of the food was already consumed by the bunnies, even before Mr.Slow and Steady reached there. To get some action,we moved on to the "Babbar Sher" or the Lion, who was resting with her Lioness.Since it's a fact that a Lion sleeps 18 hours a day, still it seemed that the Lion simply hadn't enough. He was simply resting and licking his paws. What I didn't liked a bit was that there was no environment that supported the Lion's habitat,he was simply packed in a cage with a Lioness (but it wasn't private yaar,a lot of people was watching him). The water bowl was empty and there wasn't any food visible to me.Even what amazed me was that The So called King of the Jungle was treated no more than a slave here. The courage and strenght, visible on a Lion's face wasn't showing up a bit here.I was amazed, but more or less touched by the harsh life such great and beautiful gifts of nature have to face.Who wouldn't?

Craziness has no limit, they say, as we saw a tiger, who was resting on the grass, happily. He enjoyed the best environment out of all the animals still unsatisfied with his life, cause a prison is a prison. He seemed to be new here, since he enjoyed the little garden given to him to enjoy and he cruised here and there actively. But it would not be for more than a week,my conscience challenges me.
I don't know why but I never noticed this kind of feelings for animals when I came here in 4th Class.Maybe at that time I just considered them as animals and not as a living creature. But Frankly speaking every animal I visited, including the scared and shy fox or the near-to-death cobra, everyone just stared me with pleading eyes to help get them out of this slavery. The major drawbacks were that there was no environment for them to live, they were simply a prisoner out there.Though I had watched all the animals of the same colour and the same breed on Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, there was a very big difference I noticed in their behaviour and appearance.Truly, those broadcasted by the channels had an invisible satisfaction and happiness lit on their face.
My heart was broken into pieces, seeing their condition and I wanted to leave the zoo as soon as possible, any animal lover would.A crumbly feeling was covering my heart which I guess was for those poor animals.Frankly speaking I would have been a lot happy if I would have seen some pet dolls of animals rather than visiting this Kota Zoological Prison.

A very nice Idea, considering the protection of wildlife would be to send all the animals back to their respective habitat and then make the zoo a simply clear ground. Then, for every visitor, simply provide them Virtual Reality Glasses at the entry which will be designed to take you in a world of fantasy, where animals were happy and enjoying in the zoo.It would be a little costly, but nature or money, its your choice. Please comment on this article and let me know if you are with me or not.
As far as my views are concerned,City Life and Wild Life simply don't go together.

Once again awesome work. And this time u scored more because ur views have touched my heart.Ya its true that life of zoo animals is miserable. And you know .......most important thing ....we all know this. But problem is that who is gonna take a step. We have seen or read many articles on it but have we ever bothered about it. Thanks to u , atleast u have taken efforts to creat awreness through ur blog. Now just take my example...i have read it...i am going to think on it a lot.. tomorrow i am going to tell my frds about it...then , then what i am going to forget about it. We need to change that. Hope u will always keep all of us reminding of such delicate and important topics.
Yeah it's true and we should always remember such delicate topics. It is better not to get a 30 minute entertainment than giving those animals a 30-year prison.
